Rush Anesthesiology Residents wins 1st and 3rd places in 2008 Rush Surgical Society Annual Resident Award Competition

 

Dr. Emad Wasif awarded 2nd place in the Rush Surgical Society Meeting's Annual Research Award Competition

At the Rush Surgical Society Annual Meeting held April 14, 2010, in Rush University Medical Center ’s Armour Academic Center , Dr. Emad Wasif, a Rush Department of Anesthesiology 3rd year resident was awarded second place in the Society's Annual Resident Research Award Competition. He won for his research submission and presentation entitled "Local Anesthestic Sciatic Nerve Block and Nerve Fiber Damage In Diabetic Rats." His mentors and co-authors on the study were Drs. Kroin and Buvanendran.
